So today is David (and his sister Kim) Birth Day! We have a card, some cake and lots of fabric to throw at him!
We just shot our VERY first Commercial yesterday! Should stat showing next week in Medford area!!
Even some of our customers were involved (oh so cute!)..Shall try to get Birthday Boy to post it on our website (he is trainable still!)... New quilting classes start next week, lots of goodies Too!
So Rhonda is sick today (sad), and we keep telling her to rest, but she wants to come in and play with us! We have classes going in three areas, over 25 people all moving and chatting and sewing! David is going crazy...
Vicky is working in the plant, and so many new faces are here that we will give a tour later. Hope your Saturday is just as fun and busy! Get well Rhonda, and don't you come in till you are!
How the Fasturn Works
Showing the fabric tube, once gathered on the outside of the proper Fasturn, the "pig tail" hook is spun into the fabric (works just like a corkscrew!) and then drawn down the center of the Fasturn tube.
Fabric comes out the back end of the Fasturn and it is turned (and cording can be added AT THE VERY SAME TIME!)...Easy as pie!
Whoo Hooo! We made it on with our first posting! Hello out there! We have some really neat projects we are working on! Carol has a Quilter's Challenge (for anyone near Medford Oregon), and her GREAT "Water Cooler Dress-Ups" can change the way you look at your local water cooler!
Rhonda is doing up a new 2,000 piece jigsaw (and Viki wants to make a quilt of the design!).
Mary-Jane is creating a whole bunch of Baby Quilts (she uses the Fasturn to create the tube quilts -- and my how fast she goes!)
Karen is doing all the bias tape for her project with the help of the Fastube Sewing Foot, and the #1 size of the Fasturn (she is using black batik fabric and getting yards of bias out of 1/2 full yard of the batik!)
